Two Saskatoon Women Arrested After Chasing Air Support Unit – Saskatoon | Globalnews.ca

Saskatoon Police Service They said Arrested Two women this morning after a failed attempt to move an air support unit.

Officers said they identified and tried to approach a vehicle in connection with a former police theft incident near Avenue H and 22nd Street West at around 3 p.m.

The vehicle moved forward, but the Air Support Unit obtained details and found it to be driving dangerously around town.

The vehicle rammed into an underground parking garage on the 200th block of 5th Avenue where officers arrested the two women.

The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen, two license plates were also suspected to be stolen, and a can of bear spray, bladed weapons and alcoholic beverages were also confiscated.

A 26-year-old Saskatoon woman was arrested on charges of stealing more than $5,000, operating a motor vehicle in a manner dangerous to the public, and being chased by police.

A 29-year-old Saskatoon woman was found at large on the release order, and failed to comply with court-imposed conditions.
