COVID-19 contracting and vaccination, urban flooding and Ontario Lotteries and Gaming Corporation Among the various topics in today’s annual report of the Provincial Auditor General.
Bonnie Lysick is set to deliver her annual report, which includes 15 separate audits covering the cost-effectiveness and timeliness of contracts and purchases related to COVID-19, as well as whether Ontario’s vaccination program is cost-effective And it was fair.

The audit will also cover topics such as highway planning and management, financial management at universities and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
Many of the audits will also focus on the environment, including urban flooding, protection of the Niagara Escarpment, management of invasive species and threats such as wildfires, drought and gas wells.
Two audits will also touch on the energy sector, looking at inspection and consumer protection by the Ontario Energy Board and the management and maintenance of hydroelectric generating stations by Ontario Power Generation.
Other audited areas include the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, the Office of the Corporate Chief Information Officer and the Real Estate Council of Ontario.
