A teenager has been arrested for stabbing Toronto,
In a press release, Toronto Police He said he was called to the area of Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue West in the early hours of July 8.
Police said they arrived at the scene behind a commercial plaza to find a victim, who appeared to be suffering from a knife wound. Police said first responders attempted to save lives without success.
According to officials, a large group of people were present at the party held in a nearby lounge. Police said that around 12:28 am, there was a verbal brawl which turned into a physical altercation.
The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Optin Abedini-Senoubari of Richmond Hill.
Police issued a search warrant on Saturday at a home in Vaughan, York Region. They arrested a 17-year-old boy and charged him with second-degree murder.
Police said the boy appeared in the court on Saturday via video link.
