COVID-19: 11 more deaths in Quebec, increase in hospitalization by 27 – Montreal | Globalnews.ca

Quebec is reporting 11 more deaths COVID-19 And the number of hospitalizations has increased by 27 patients in the last 24 hours.

The health department says 1,887 people in hospital have the disease, including 640 people who were admitted specifically because of COVID-19.

There are 42 people in intensive care, a drop of three patients compared to the previous day.

The province reported 1,910 new cases through PCR tests restricted to certain high-risk groups, as well as 656 positive domestic rapid test reports through a government website.

Officials say 7,138 Health Network workers are off work for reasons related to COVID-19.

The province has reported 15,737 deaths attributable to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
