A spokesman for the Kongsberg Police Department told CNN on Wednesday that the attacker used a bow and arrow suspected to have killed and injured several people in the Norwegian city of Kongsberg.
The spokesman said police were first informed about the suspect at 6.15 pm local time. He said the suspect attacked people at several places before being arrested.
When asked about the number of casualties, the spokesperson said, “We cannot confirm any number yet.”
He also said that it was too early to say what was the reason for the attack.
“That’s what the investigation will reveal,” the spokesman said.
