U.S. stock futures fell and government bond yields climbed as investors sought to assess how aggressively the Federal Reserve will need to move to tame inflation.
Futures tied to the S&P 500 declined 0.7% Friday, a day after the benchmark index ticked up slightly. Contracts tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.5% and those tied to the technology-focused Nasdaq-100 fell 0.9%.
