Soldier martyred in firing with terrorists in North Waziristan: ISPR

The army’s media affairs wing said on Saturday that a soldier was killed during “intense exchange of fire” between security forces and militants in Miranshah area of ​​North Waziristan district.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement identified the soldier as 32-year-old Naik Zahid Ahmed, a resident of Charsadda, who embraced martyrdom after “fighting bravely”.

Meanwhile, two more terrorists were killed during an operation in the border area of ​​Noshki. Sources said that the terrorists tried to escape from their hideout and opened fire on the security forces. Two terrorists allegedly belonging to the outlawed Baloch Republic Army were killed during the shootout.
