New Delhi: Snapchat on Monday announced for the first time bringing features like chatting and video calling to desktop via a new internet app. “Snapchat for the Internet” is a new medium for staying connected to our digital cameras once they’re on our group’s computer systems, the company noted in a press release. To start, the Net platform may only be available to Snapchat Plus customers in the US, UK, and Canada, and Snapchatters throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Snapchat for the Internet has high-end messaging options like Chat Reaction and Chat Reply with Lens that can roll out quickly. Social media platform Snapchat introduced last month that its Snapchat Plus, a slew of unique, experimental and pre-release options, is available for $3.99 monthly.
It is within the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Snapchat will be rolling out the Plus function to additional countries over time.
