Police said officers were called to the area of Herts Lane and Bathgate Drive just before 2am to reports of people passing by in cars.
Then an SUV was found, which had been reported stolen last month in the Niagara region.
While officers were trying to stop the vehicle, police said it had intentionally driven into the cruiser, causing minor damage.
The SUV reportedly fled but crashed into a nearby lawn and the occupants fled on foot, police said, adding that all six were arrested with the assistance of Guelph police service dog “Jet”.
Police is not giving information about any casualty in the accident.
The four boys and two girls, aged 14 to 17, face a range of charges including possession of stolen property, dangerous driving, flying from police and breaching court orders.
