Second person arrested in Keeseikos First Nation murder investigation | globalnews.ca

Another person has been charged in the investigation into the murder Keesikos First NationSask., from Nov. 19.

is according to Saskatchewan RCMPwho said Edgar Lyle Kakakawe (sr.), 41, of Kamsac, has been charged with being an accessory to murder after the fact.

RCMP arrested 19-year-old Edgar Kakakwe Jr. back in Keesikoze First Nation for his involvement in the November 22 death of a 16-year-old boy from Kote First Nation.

Kakakawe Jr. was charged with second-degree murder, causing bodily harm and failing to comply with a condition of release order.

Kakakawe Sr. was arrested on November 29 and appeared in provincial court in Kanora on Thursday morning.
