Schools from class 10 to 12 will open in Himachal from August 2

In view of the decline in Kovid cases, the Himachal government has decided to open schools for classes 10th to 12th from August 2.

This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held here on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. In view of the better Kovid situation, the Education Department made a presentation before the cabinet.

Residential and partially residential schools will also open for classes 10 to 12 from August 2 following the SOPs. The scholars in the universities will be allowed as per the dates to be notified by the university authorities.

It has also been decided to allow opening of coaching centres, tuition and training institutes across the state from July 26. Regular classes in schools will be held only from class 10 to 12. However, students of classes 5 to 8 can come to the school. Clear your doubts from your teachers.
