Meanwhile, most of the employees pointed to the ongoing construction work for the Metro line in and around Hinjewadi. He said that due to the construction work, the time of commuting to Hinjewadi would increase. “Companies mostly think twice before recalling people. This will lead to overcrowding and also increase travel time. The pandemic has made it clear that work from home can be done for a long time,” said an employee.
