India has prepared a big plan to surround China. The country has started laying the net of the fastest supersonic anti-ship cruise missile BrahMos. For this, India has made a deal of $ 375 million (Rs 2789 crore) to export BrahMos to the Philippines, the enemy country of Dragon.
According to sources, the National Defense Department of the Philippines has issued a ‘Notice of Award’ to BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd, under which the contract between the two countries is likely to be signed by next week. This deal has dealt a big blow to China. The Philippines has an ongoing dispute with China over the rights over the South China Sea. According to the report, in such a situation, the Philippines can deploy BrahMos missiles in its coastal areas.

This is the first contract for export of BrahMos missiles. This is expected to pave the way for missile deals with Asian countries like Indonesia and Vietnam. According to a report in the Times of India, the deal is a political and diplomatic move to curb China’s growing expansionism as well as establish a stronger strategy with its neighbors in the South China Sea.
