Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) has announced that electricity will be cut off in parts of Chennai today to carry out maintenance work in the city.
Electricity will remain suspended in parts of Chennai from 9 am to 2 pm, and supply is expected to resume before 2 pm when the work is completed.
The following areas of the city will be affected:
Tambaram: GST Road, Indira Gandhi Road, Olimbia Tower, Mariamman Koil Street, Perumal Koil Street, Thiruchendur Nagar, Thiruthani Nagar, Pallava Garden, Perumal Nagar Part, 200 Feet Thoraipakkam Road, Azagappa Nagar, ARG Nagar.
