Niagara Regional Police are investigating a fatal collision between a bicyclist and a pedestrian.

Just after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Niagara Police and emergency services responded to a collision on Queenston Street near Dee Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Police learned that an 81-year-old woman was attempting to cross the road, and was struck by a 64-year-old cyclist. He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital by paramedics.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation and no charges have yet been filed.
