The brother of an 18-year-old girl, who is believed to have been murdered after she disappeared on her way to meet her boyfriend, has remembered his sister as ‘beautiful and talented’.

Bobby-Anne McLeod went missing in Plymouth on Saturday after she failed to visit friends. Police have arrested two men aged 24 and 26 for his murder.

Officials said they were becoming increasingly concerned for the teenager, who was supposed to take a bus to the city center to see her partner over the weekend but never came.

Detectives revealed Tuesday that a body was found in their search for Bobby-Anne, and that formal identification is yet to be made, adding that her family had been notified.

Now, his brother, Lee McLeod, has shared an emotional tribute on social media, after posting a picture of the two of them together as children.

Along with the picture, he wrote: ‘Till we meet again didi. I love you.

‘You didn’t deserve it, having such a beautiful and talented girl and having you as my little sister, the adventure and journey we were on will always be treasured. Now go easy.’

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘Sadly, during a search by police officers today the body of a woman was located near Bovisand, South Hams. These raids were conducted after getting information from the police.

‘Formal identification has not yet been made but the family of Bobby-Anne MacLeod has been informed of this development and is being supported by investigators.

‘Two men aged 24 and 26 have been arrested from Plymouth on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.

‘Inquiries in relation to this matter are ongoing and anyone with information that may aid in the ongoing investigation is asked to contact the police quoting 101 log 706 22/11/21.’

Friend and neighbor Amanda Isaacs deleted a social media group that tried to locate Bobby-Anne, apparently at the request of the family.

Kerry Alley said: ‘Absolutely heartbreaking. Was thinking of the family and everyone who knew him.
