Passengers forced to smash way out of London Underground train in fire alert

London: Passengers were forced to exit a London Underground train after a fire was reported in South London on Friday evening. The train was stopped at Clapham Common station and people were seen trying to get out by breaking the windows of the train. According to the British Transport Police, there were no reports of any injuries. BTP said in a statement: “The problem is believed to have been caused by brake dust which can often be confused with a burn.”
