Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Friday caught a Pakistani fisherman in Harami Nala area of ​​Kutch district of Gujarat. Along with this, five Pakistani boats have also been seized. Officials say nothing suspicious was found during the search in the boat. Earlier on Thursday also two Pakistani boats were seized.

BSF officials said that the patrolling party on Friday noticed movement of Pakistani boats near Harami Nala, which were trying to enter Indian territory. BSF personnel cordoned off the area and captured five Pakistani fishing boats. Along with this, a fisherman was also taken into his custody, while his other accomplices managed to escape.

Nothing suspicious was found from the boats
During the search of the boats, the security forces did not find anything suspicious except fishing nets and equipment. This is not the first time that such an incident has happened. About a month ago, on July 7, the BSF had caught four Pakistani fishermen in Kutch. Also 10 boats were confiscated.

Drugs worth Rs 250 crore caught by BSF
In the first week of June, BSF in a joint search operation with Jakhau Marine Police had seized 49 packets of drugs from Sayali Creek near Jakhau port area. Their cost was around Rs 250 crore. BSF personnel say that patrolling along the LoC has become very challenging due to bad weather. Especially in marshy areas, patrolling has become even more difficult.
