Now Sidhu Moosewala’s much awaited song SYL is about the rivers of Punjab and Sikh prisoners

Sidhu Musewala’s first posthumous song SYL has been released on his YouTube channel. The song has been written, sung and composed by the late singer himself. It is produced by MXRCI and the video and artwork are by Navkaran Brar.

The song revolves around various issues related to Punjab. Among them, the issue of Sutlej Yamuna Lok canal, Sikh prisoner and the recent agitation against agricultural laws are highlighted.

There are black and white scenes that show the rivers of Punjab, some shots from Punjab’s past where people can be seen revolting against various laws, mentions the 1984 massacre. The makers have also included short clips of Sidhu Musewala.

Sidhu Musewala was shot dead in Mansa on the night of 28 May. After his death, it was announced that all his unfinished work would be handed over to his father, Balkaur Singh.
