Greater Noida: A Medicine rehabilitation to be established by the Central State Government Gautam Budh Nagar, officials have said. At present there is no such facility in the district and before this a proposal has been sent to the government.
The central government had recently asked states to identify such districts, which do not have such centres.
According to officials, they are looking for around 3,000 square feet of space to set up the centre.
“The process started on Monday and NGOs and social organizations who are interested in setting up such a facility can send us their proposals. The schemes will be evaluated and it will be sent to the government for final approval,” said District Social Welfare Officer Shailendra Bahadur Singh.
The center will have to provide at least 15 beds with trained professionals and other resources.
