Andrew CuomoThe former U.S. press secretary has claimed that he told him that his father had reprimanded him for comparing the size of women’s breasts when he was a college student.
He wrote an essay about his time working for Cuomo and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, titled Penis Politics, and in December will publish a book developing from the essay.
‘When I was Andrew’s press secretary … he told me a story when he was in college and his father, Mario Cuomo, was New York’s secretary of state,’ Hinton writes, in a copy of the book obtained by New York Post.
Andrew Cuomo as seen with his father Mario in 2002 – two years after Clinton left the White House, and when he was running for governor for the first time. When Cuomo was of a college age, Mario Cuomo scolded him for joking about women’s breasts, according to a new book.

Andrew Cuomo, pictured in May of this year, was forced to resign as governor in August after 11 women accused him of sexual misconduct.
‘Andrew and a friend of his were standing next to their father’s state car, waiting for Mario to finish an event.
‘College-aged Andrew and his friend passed the time by comparing the characteristics of the breasts of women they knew: those who had big ‘t** ties, those who had smaller ones, and how to handle each. Pros and Cons.
Karen Hinton’s new book is coming in December
‘They were beside themselves with laughter.
‘The window came down. Unknown to them, Mario was already in the car and heard every word.
‘The laughter stopped.
‘Mario Cuomo was furious. Mario lectures Andrew, ‘Never talk about women like this again, whether I hear it or not.
‘No wink, nod to his son from Mario Cuomo.’
Hinton, married to another former Cuomo aide, Howard Glaser, said she looked back on Cuomo’s anecdote when the then-Governor of New York resigned on August 10.
Cuomo was accused of sexual assault and assault by 11 women. He denied the allegations, and said in his resignation speech that he grounded his claims to generational differences.
Cuomo said, ‘In my mind, I’ve never crossed boundaries with anyone. ‘But I didn’t know to what extent the line had been redrawn.’
Karen Hinton served as Cuomo’s press aide while he was in Washington DC as a member of Clinton’s cabinet.
However, Hinton said he didn’t buy Cuomo’s argument.
“Andrew Cuomo told New Yorkers on the day he resigned that the ‘lines’ on men’s behavior toward women kept moving as he got older,” she wrote.
‘But Mario knew where the line was even forty years ago, and he tried to teach his son, a future governor, to another.’
Cuomo spokesman Rich Azopardi accused Hinton of trying to build up a scam to sell his book.
In 2018, when Ms Hinton was not chasing the headlines for selling a book, she wrote: ‘I’ve been lucky enough to have male bosses like Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio who know how to respect women. is done. while being a no-nonsense manager,’ he said.
‘Consider her credibility and this latest transparent attempt to rewrite history.’
Cuomo has been laid off since leaving Albany, spending time at a friend’s house in the Hamptons.
He doesn’t have his own house but his brother Chris, who is a CNN anchor, also lives in the same area.
Cuomo posted a photo of himself on a boat on Long Island with his dog Captain on Instagram in late September.
