MLB All-Star Game 2022: What’s to know about the Mid-Summer Classic?

major League Baseball The All-Star Game is set to take place at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Tuesday and will feature some of the sport’s best up-and-coming superstars.

By convention, the American League would go against the National League. There is no fantasy draft format like the NBA or NHL for divisional teams going against each other. The NFL also went back to conference matchups for its All-Star game, known as the Pro Bowl.

This year’s game will have the best and brightest but some stars will also be missing due to injury. mike troutJose Altuve, George Springer, Jordan Alvarez, Justin Verlander, Gerrit Cole Jazz Chisholm Jr., Bryce Harper, Nolan Arenado, Starling Marte, Corbin Burns, Max Fried and Carlos Rodan and Josh Hader will not participate.

Miguel Cabrera and Albert Pujol were also placed in the game as heritage selections due to their contributions to the sport. The Detroit Tigers star said he plans to retire when his contract expires after the 2023 season. The St. Louis Cardinals slugger announced that he would be retiring at the end of the season.

The American League is on an incredible winning streak in this event. The AL have won eight games in a row and lost only three times since 1996.
