Martha Stewart says coyotes killed 6 of her pet peacocks

Martha Stewart is mourning the death of six her pet peacock When she shared on social media over the weekend that coyotes killed some of her birds “in broad daylight.”

Stewart posted an update on that on Saturday Instagram account.

She shared with 3.9 million followers that her birds had been killed.

Stewart shared a video of one of the peacocks, Blue Boy, showing off his feathers while playing Marvin Gaye’s song “Let’s Get It On” in the background.

“Coyotes came in broad daylight and ate him and five others, including the fabulous White Boy,” Stewart wrote on Instagram.

“Any way to get rid of six large and aggressive coyotes that have an expensive taste in poultry?”

He also outlined the steps being taken to prevent any such attacks in future.

“We are no longer letting peacocks out of their yard, we are enclosing the top of their large yard with wire fencing etc.,” Stewart wrote in the same Instagram message.

It is unknown how many peacocks Stewart has right now, as reported by Fox 5DC.

In May 2021, she shared on Twitter that she has “21 of these magnificent birds whose home is impeccable.”

“They don’t smell. They’re so clean!” she wrote.

“His voice is loud but very funny to listen to. He is very friendly,” he said.

Stewart has long shared information and updates about her many pets with her followers, as well as projects both indoors and out.

In a recent post on her blog, she shared the news that her “beautiful felt pony, Benchunch, is enjoying her new shoes.”

“All my horses get new shoes every four to six weeks. Made of metal or sometimes rubber or other materials, the horseshoe is designed to protect the horse’s hooves from wear,” she wrote.

She explained, “Each shoe must be fitted properly to prevent mobility issues from developing. Horseshoes usually remain on the animal’s hooves until hawkers return to replace them, but Sometimes a horse will throw a shoe during a ride or just outside. Frog.”

“Once done, my lovely felt pony is now ready for a good rest. See you soon, my beautiful bench.”

“Exactly the same thing happened with Benchache—he threw off one of his front shoes, so we called in Mark Hill for a visit.”

Stewart also posts about other favorite things.
