Lockdown in Karachi on the instructions of NCOC, decision to close schools: CM Murad

KARACHI: Amid the alarming COVID-19 situation in Karachi, where the positivity ratio has reached 31%, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Friday said the decision to impose lockdown and closure of schools in the city as per the directions of the National Command. but will be taken. and Operations Center (NCOC).

The Chief Minister said this at an inaugural function in Karachi, when he was asked about the rise in COVID-19 in the metropolis.

The CM said any decision on the lockdown and closure of schools in Karachi would be taken on the recommendation of the NCOC.
