Ayurvedic D2C brand Kapiva has launched a digital film for its new product Glow Mix, a plant-based supplement. The digital film stars Malaika Arora, who was recently roped in as the brand ambassador and strategic investor. With this new product, the brand aims to provide consumers with glowing skin through right nutrition based on Ayurvedic principles.

“Our aim is to enable our consumers with alternative Ayurvedic solutions that they can incorporate into their lives to make it better and holistic. Hence, realizing the need for holistic solutions in the skincare industry, we decided to foray into the skin food segment with the launch of Glow Mix,” said Amev Sharma, Founder, Kapiva.

Kapiva claims that Glow Mix is ​​a vegetarian, gluten-free, soy-free and non-GMO (genetically modified organism) product targeted at women aged 21-40. With this launch, Kapiva strengthens its vision of integrating Ayurveda into India’s daily lifestyle and promoting holistic living, the brand said in a statement.

“Our skin is a mirror of what happens inside our bodies. I am glad that finally, a brand thought of enhancing the natural look of the skin through the right skin foods based on Ayurvedic principles. Hence, I truly believe that Kapiva Skin Foods Glow Mix is ​​a game-changer,” said Arora.

Funded by recent Series B funding led by Fireside Ventures, Madhu Banana, GITS Foods, and Vertex Ventures and 3One4 Capital, the startup claims to have seen 10x growth over the past 30 months. Apart from this, it has claimed to have seen GMV of more than 100 crores. While its products are available on e-commerce platforms, it claims to be present in over 6,000 stores across the country.
