Malayalam film ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Singham’ (Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea) won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film. The film is written and directed by Priyadarshan and Stars Mohan Lal. The actors were also present at the award show.

‘The Tashkent Files’ won two awards – Best Supporting Actress, which went to Pallavi Joshi and Best Dialogue Writer.
