Justin Timberlake‘s bartender is confirming the pop star’s story following his recent arrest for a DWI.
Timberlake was beforehand arrested on June 18 in Lengthy Island, N.Y., for driving whereas intoxicated. In his arrest report, obtained by ET, Timberlake, 43, instructed the officer, “I had one martini and I adopted my pals dwelling.”
The bartender at Sag Harbor’s American Resort confirms to People that he served JT one martini earlier than he left the venue.
“If he was ingesting extra, it wasn’t right here,” one other worker instructed the outlet.
A spokesperson for the Sag Harbor Police Division previously told ET that cops noticed Timberlake on June 18 at roughly 12:37 a.m. driving a 2025 grey BMW southbound on Madison Road. Cops say he did not cease at a duly posted cease signal and he failed to remain in his lane.
“A site visitors cease was initiated by a Police Officer from the Sag Harbor Village Police Division and upon investigation it was decided that Mr. Timberlake was working his automobile in an intoxicated situation,” the assertion continued.
Timberlake’s lawyer, protection lawyer Edward Burke Jr., confirmed to ET that the singer was charged with one rely of DWI and cited for operating a cease signal and failure to maintain in his lane. He is due again in courtroom just about on July 26.

Based on police, Timberlake refused to do a breathalyzer check 3 times after his arrest.
