Japan’s foreign minister shows no commitment on Damascus airport attack

Tokyo: Japan’s Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi on Tuesday declined to confirm an Israeli missile strike at Damascus International Airport but said Japan was monitoring the situation.

Damascus International Airport suffered major damage – including the runway – following a missile attack believed to be by Israel.
