Jamie Lee Curtis dresses up as mom Janet Leigh in ‘Psycho’ for ‘Halloween Kills’ premiere

Curtis, who stars in the latest installment of the popular “Halloween” horror film franchise, wore a light blue outfit and complimented it with a blonde wig, black purse, and fake blood-soaked shower curtain.

“Honoring my mom in all her glory… I meant glory! Premiere party time!” caption of a picture Her outfit read on Curtis’s Verified Instagram account.

Leigh’s character, Marion Crane, famously meets her end in “Psycho,” who is stabbed to death in the shower.

Curtis said it was more “meta” when it came to honoring his mother, who died in 2004 after a battle with vasculitis, an inflammation of the blood vessels.

“I’m actually going to go as Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh in the movie ‘Hitchcock,'” Curtis said, “Entertainment Tonight. “So it’s meta because we never knew what color Janet Leigh’s dress was because it was a black-and-white movie. But now because of the ‘Hitchcock’ movie, we know it was light blue.”

She added a shower curtain, she said, so people wouldn’t think she was dressed as a 1950s housewife.

This isn’t the first time the actress has paid tribute to her equally famous horror film role of her famous mother.

In 2015, Curtis “Psycho” shower scene recreated, As part of her role as Wallace University dean Cathy Munsch in Ryan Murphy’s horror-comedy TV series “Scream Queens”, in black and white as in the original.
