Just weeks after Superman: Legacy got a new Clark Kent and Lois Lane, director James Gunn has added three newcomers to the cast. The filmmaker, who is also the co-head of DC Studios, revealed that the superhero universe will be expanded with Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 fame Nathan Fillion, X-Men star Eddie Gathegi and Dora and the Lost City of Gold actress Isabella Merced. Will happen. All three will play superheroes in the upcoming film. Nathan Fillion plays Guy Gardner, a variant of the superhero Green Lantern. Trained to use the Power Ring, he possesses massive energy projection and flight power.

Prior to Nathan Fillion, actor Matthew Settle played the role in the television pilot Justice League of America. Talking about Isabella Merced, she will be playing the role of Hawkgirl. He has falcon-like ultra-advanced vision, superhuman strength, flying power, and advanced healing abilities. The source of his power is a powerful substance native to the planet Thanagar, home of the falcon heroes. James Gunn confirmed the inclusion of all three characters on Twitter with a warm welcome to the team. “True. Welcome to the cast of Superman: Legacy: Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Isabella Merced as Hawkgirl, and Eddie Gaethgi as Mister Terrific,” he tweeted.

This comes just weeks after the cast welcomed David Korenshwat and Rachel Brosnahan to play the iconic roles of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. David Korenswet plays the Man of Steel, while Rachel plays Superman’s alter ego and wife. Although Superman: Legacy is not an origin story of the superhero, it traces the life of a younger version of Superman. He sets out on a journey to reconnect with his Kryptonian and human family based in Smallville, Kansas.

Director James Gunn confirmed in a statement that the film will hit the big screen after two years. The shooting of the film is yet to begin, but the makers are quite excited about the project. “Superman: Legacy begins two years from today. To many of you this may seem far away, but it is very close to me! We have a lot to do between now and then. But I’ve never been so excited about a project… and this cast is slowly coming together… holy cow,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
