Internet spies claimed that Brian Laundry, a key figure interested in Gabby Petito’s disappearance and death, is hiding under a flower bed in her parents’ North Port, Florida, House.
Videos surfaced on social media after drone footage of Roberta and Christopher walking into their backyard garden of laundry, some believe the 23-year-old fugitive has taken refuge in a secret bunker under flowers.
The conspiracy theory comes as police continue their search for Brian, who went missing on September 14 and is said to be hiding somewhere in the vast 24,565-acre Carlton Reserve in Venice.
Two women claiming to be neighbors of the laundry also showed up outside their home on Friday to post a smiling petito with the caption, ‘Remember me? Gabby Petito. Roberta and Chris I once lived with you!’
A TikTok user zoomed in on the drone footage to detail Roberta Laundry cleaning up the soil in her garden. They claim it shows evidence that Brian Laundry may be hiding under it.
Many are sharing the viral video and asking the FBI to check the garden for Brian’s symptoms.
Brian Laundry, 23, is the only person interested in the disappearance and death of 22-year-old Gabby Pettito, whose body was found on September 11 in Wyoming.
As cyber sleuths went wild over the drone footage, a TikTok user, with the handle, charlienovasite, posted a zoomed-in version that supposedly shows some evidence of Brian’s presence.
‘There must be someone there. You can’t change my mind,’ wrote the TikTok user.
Another TikTok user Kmiller480 shared the viral video, writing, ‘Chris Laundry agrees to help find his son Brian. Meanwhile, Roberta’s laundry is busy in the garden as usual. Has the FBI investigated the garden?’
The post references Christopher’s visit on Thursday to guide officers to a visiting family at Carlton Reserve, where officers found a ‘fresh campsite’ that Brian could have belonged to.
The outing was Laundries’ first public show that they were collaborating with police to find their son after initially keeping quiet when Brian returned home without him in Petito’s car in early September.
Petito was reported missing by her parents on September 11, and her body was later discovered in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
After the Laundries alleged that inaction made them react, Petito’s father, Joseph, earlier this week called the family a “coward” at Dr. Phil.

People claiming to be neighbors of laundry put up this banner at their house on Friday
On Friday night, two women were seen outside the laundry house posting a sign with a photo of Pettito saying she once lived with Laundry, who was her in-laws.
video was captured by news nation now, and one of the women said, ‘Hopefully they can see it,’ before turning away.
Laundry’s attorney, Steven Bertolino, told CNN he believes Brian Carlton is located at the reserve.
After Christopher’s first visit with police this week, Bertolino said ‘there was no search’ [on Thursday] But the effort was helpful to all. The water in the protected area appears to be receding and some areas are more accessible for exploration.
‘The entire Laundry family is grateful for the hard work of the dedicated members of law enforcement who have been searching Preserve for Brian over the past few weeks. Hope to see Brian soon.’
He arrived at Mykkahatchi Creek Environmental Park later in the morning as he directed law enforcement deep into the Carlton Reserve where he and police believe his son is located.
Officials found a new campsite at the T. Marbury Jr. Memorial Reservation. Laundry’s abandoned Ford Mustang was found on the outskirts of the area last month
Police and FBI agents have been searching for laundry in the marshland for three weeks
Christopher will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as agents investigate the new campsite.
Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindafer also told News Nation Now journalist Brian Antin in a Twitter Live video that she believes Laundry will be found alive — just not soon.
She also claimed that Laundry could ‘loosely’ contact her parents through her family’s lawyer.
Asked if he thinks Laundry is still communicating with his parents, Coffindafer said: ‘Yes, though very loosely through a lawyer.’ It is not known whether Laundry has spoken to this parent since his disappearance was reported.
Speaking about why she believes Laundry will be found alive, Coffinfer said: ‘I believe he is going to be able to hide in his surroundings. I think he is a learned outsider and survivalist and because of this I think he will be able to stay out of the clutches of law enforcement for some time.’
Investigators have chased the lead in several states since the laundry took off three weeks ago, but to date, the only person interested in the murder of 22-year-old Petito has not been confirmed.
The FBI is currently investigating 11 alleged sightings of laundry along the Appalachian Trail close to the North Carolina-Tennessee border, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed Wednesday.
