IDF intelligence chief’s car stolen by thieves – India Times Hindi News

The Israeli military is examining its security protocols for top employees after the military intelligence chief’s family car was stolen from his garage this week, the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement Thursday night.

The vehicle was apparently taken as part of a burglary wave in the Tel Aviv neighborhood where Major General Ahron Haliva lives, did not target the general and had no security implications, the military said. Other cars were stolen from the same garage.

However, despite Haliva’s security details, the fact that it can be stolen has raised questions.

After serving as the head of the IDF Operations Directorate, Haliva became the army’s intelligence chief earlier this year.
