Ideologically narrow thinking opposing our views: BJP leader

Gujarat BJP General Secretary Ratnakar said on Thursday that people need to “understand the thought process” in view of the growing opposition to the decisions.

At a program organized here on the occasion of death anniversary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Ratnakar said that ideologically narrow minded people are opposing the views of BJP.

“In today’s ongoing conflict, it is necessary for (people) to understand their thought process. Our leadership has been attacked, there have been murders, there have been attempts to harass… Every time there is a counter-reaction… Questions are raised on trivial issues… Even though our efforts are constructive, there is a counter-reaction… They do not accept our views,” Ratnakar said at the event called “Balidan Diwas”. .

He added, “I don’t tag these groups as anti-national, but they are ideologically narrow-minded.”

He then emphasized the idea of ​​”Vasudeva Kutumbakam” (The world is one family), and the aim of the party was not only on “Roti, Kapda and Makaan”, but also about “everyone’s happiness in being creative”. for the country”.

Ratnakar praised Dr. Mukherjee’s efforts on disagreeing with what was done to Kashmir by the then government.

He said that revoking the special status of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019 was the ideology and reality of Dr. Mukherjee’s struggle.

“But the conflict in Kashmir is still going on in some way or the other. The situation changes a bit, the leadership changes, but the issue remains more or less the same,” Ratnakar said.

He added that the whole Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is “ours, no part is divided” (“humara hai wo saare ka sara hai , koi hissa kata nahi hai”).

He said that the country is present in front of us only because of the efforts of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who united the divided constituencies after independence.
