GOP mayoral candidate slams Democrat Muriel Bowser, calls BLM movement a crime

As violent crime rises in cities across the country, six cities led by Democrats are determined to Overtook the bloody figures of 2021.

Washington, DC GOP mayoral candidate Stacia Hall joined “Fox and Friends First” on Thursday to discuss how the violence has affected the city and why she is rushing to change the narrative.

“In D.C., it’s our nation’s capital,” Hall explained. Co-Host Carly Shimkus, “It is, to me, the ruling city of our country, and it should be an ideal city, but it is not. Here liberals are wandering for special interests.”

Violent crimes to rise in 2022, after previous unprecedented spike in murders

Baltimore, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta and New York City are on pace to halve their 2021 violent crime levels through this year, the nation’s largest, according to crime data reviewed by Fox News. The city is leading the group. ,

New York City Despite the city seeing a slight decrease in the number of recorded homicides, it has seen a 25.8% increase in violent crime at this time in 2022 compared to the same time in 2021.

Hall also highlighted the hypocrisy of the Black Lives Matter movement, calling for action from the organization’s white supporters as crime continues to cripple the city.

“You must stand up for the Black Lives Matter movement that you support,” Hall said, calling on people supporting the movement to bring attention to the killings in minority neighborhoods and contact Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser.

“We stand for this cause,” she continued. “Please do something about the lives that are black and the ones that matter.”

The nation’s capital has also seen a rise in violent crime in 2022, with a 12% increase in such incidents at the halfway point of the year compared to 2021.

“We need knowledge,” Hall said. ,we need more police, We need community participation. We all need to come together to bring back a safe District of Columbia.”
