KARACHI: In a video that went viral on Monday, people can be seen fishing from the rain water that flows through the vegetable market in Karachi on the super highway. The situation has come to the fore after record rainfall in the city and its surrounding areas a day earlier.

Water, which has turned the area into a ‘fish farm’, has entered low-lying areas, and small dams have resulted in flooding of roads. People started collecting them when they came to know that the fish were flowing in the water.

In the video, several men can be seen trying to grab fresh ones in different sizes and can be seen stocking them in their clothes and polythene bags. About four to eight inches of fish are expected to flow in the flood waters.
