LUCENA CITY—Police arrested on Wednesday, June 22, a notorious drug pusher and seized shabu (crystal meth) worth more than P161,900 in Santa Cruz town in Laguna province.
Police Colonel Cecilio Ison Jr., Laguna cop chief, identified in a report Thursday Eric Vitaliz, 33, as on the list of street-level drug peddlers in the locality.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency agents, collared Vitaliz after he sold at 10 p.m. a pack of shabu to a police agent in Barangay Santisima Cruz.
Authorities confiscated seven plastic sachets of shabu weighing 23.8 grams with a street value of P161,900.
The suspect was detained and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
