Cramer’s week ahead: Wait before trading on company earnings

CNBC’s Jim Cramer warned investors on Friday not to make fresh trading decisions from a company’s earnings report.

Shares recovered on Friday after falling early on quarterly earnings reports and recession warnings from major banks. All three major indexes ended the week flat as investors digested a slate of earnings reports and economic data that suggested inflation was cooling.

Cramer, who earlier this week offered to investors A set of guidelines for earnings seasonFriday’s trading session was called an example of why investors should be disciplined with their portfolios.
