The film follows Randall Graves [Jeff Anderson]As he decides to make a movie about his life at the convenience store, after a major heart attack.
It’s probably no coincidence that the film was written with health scares in mind. Kevin Smith, The one who created the cult classic franchise suffered a real-life heart attack in 2018.
The film will also star a number of original cast members, including Rosario Dawson, Brian O’Halloran, Jason Mewes and Trevor Fehrman.
And of course, Smith returned to play Silent Bob.
“Clerk” first made its debut in 1994 and was later followed by spin-off films such as “Clerk II,” “Mallrats,” “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” and “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.”
“Clerk III” will have a limited theatrical release in September.
