Christmas Craft Carnival 2021 is a chance for traditional Indian artisans to be a part of an economically sustainable and socially empowered community as well as stock up on hand stitched quilts, bags, accessories and terracotta jewellery. The carnival is organized in association with Motherquilts and Ghongadi connecting these artisans with socially conscious consumers across the globe.

Wild Sarmice, a poetry reading group led by Samir Joshi, takes on The Poems of Octavio Paz. The Poems of Octavio Paz is Paz’s first retrospective collection of poetry, spanning his entire writing career, from his first published poem at the age of 17 to his brilliant last. This historical edition contains many poems that have never been translated into English before. Octavio Paz’s poems also include translations by poet-publishers Elizabeth Bishop, Paul Blackburn, Denis Levertov, Muriel Rukisar and Charles Tomlinson.

Vivek Vilasini, a multimedia artist from Kerala, has a solo exhibition “Bet one Shore and Many Others”. The series showcases his latest photographic prints, which capture movement and captivity during the pandemic, lending an aesthetic dimension to the situation.
