Car catches fire after hitting a divider on Jhajjar-Meerut highway, 3 MBBS students from Haryana die

Three MBBS students were killed when their car caught fire after hitting a divider on the Jhajjar-Meerut national highway on Wednesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Pulkit of Narnaul, Sandesh of Rewari and Rohit of Gurugram. All three were MBBS 3rd year students at PGIMS Rohtak.

Three other MBBS students – Ankit, Narbir and Sombir – suffered severe burns.

All six were going from Rohtak to Haridwar.

Sonipat police reached the spot and started investigation.

The bodies have been sent to the mortuary of the General Hospital, Sonipat, while the three injured have been referred to PGIMS, Rohtak.
