Capt Amarinder posts pictures of himself with politicians, actors on Facebook in attack over friendship with Pakistani journalist Arusa Alam

Chandigarh, October 25

Amid the ongoing controversy over his friendship with Pakistani journalist Arosa Alam, former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Monday released photographs of himself with some politicians and actors on his Facebook page.

Asked whether all these politicians and actors accompanying Pakistani journalists were ISI links, Singh said he would have invited them again if there were no visa restrictions between India and Pakistan.

Amarinder Singh, who had to face an unnecessary exit from the state government, has been attacked by several Congress leaders over his friendship with Arusa Alam.

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa had even said that whether Arusa Alam, a friend of the former Punjab CM, has links with Pakistan’s intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), will be probed.

Singh on Monday shared purported photographs of Arosa Alam with former Union ministers Sushma Swaraj, Yashwant Sinha, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, actors Shatrughan Sinha, Dilip Kumar, film director Mahesh Bhatt and some other dignitaries. issued.

“I am posting a series of photographs of Mrs Arosa Alam with various dignitaries. I think all of them are also contacts of ISI. Those saying this should think before speaking,” Amarinder Singh said on his Facebook page.

“Unfortunately, visas are banned between India and Pakistan at the moment. Otherwise, I would have invited him again,” he adds.

“Coincidentally I am going to be 80 in March and Mrs Alam 69 next year. Narrow-mindedness seems to be the order of the day,” he adds.

Amarinder had resigned as the Chief Minister of Punjab last month amid a power struggle with Navjot Singh Sidhu.
