Brockville, Ont. Police Identify Woman’s Remains Found at Transfer Station – Kingston | Globalnews.ca

Police in Brockville, Ont. say they have identified the woman whose remains were found at the Brockville Hauling and Transfer Station operated by Waste Management.

The woman’s body was initially discovered on the morning of July 22 at the station on California Avenue on the north end of Brockville.

According to Staff Sgt. Tom Fournier, a 30-year-old woman from the Napeney-Belleville-Trenton area.

Police say that the woman’s family has been informed but the name of the deceased is not being disclosed at the moment.

Fournier says there is no sign of disturbance and there is no public safety concern.

The woman’s body is currently in Ottawa where a coroner’s forensic post-mortem is underway to determine the cause of death. Preliminary results of the post-mortem are expected in the coming days.
