After years of animosity, Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps have rekindled their friendship.Â
The previous Actual Housewives of New York Metropolis stars reunited over the Fourth of July weekend at a lavish occasion within the Hamptons, sharing smiles and selfies, together with one with Bethenny’s 14-year-old daughter, Bryn, and actress Emma Roberts.
Bethenny, 53, took to Instagram on July 7 to share the joyous second. “Bougie Hamptons occasion by day… tonight it is a cabaret…” she captioned the picture. “Hell hath frozen over and I’m being cool and never uncool…”
Luann, 59, also posted the reunion pictures, including her personal playful caption, “I suppose life IS a CABARET, my associates!”
The reunion marks a major turning level for the duo, who had a notable falling out throughout a season 11 episode of RHONY that aired in 2019. Throughout a heated group dinner, Bethenny famously told Luann, “Life will not be a cabaret. It’s really not a cabaret!”Â
The confrontation stemmed from Bethenny’s frustration over Luann’s perceived indifference following the death of Bethenny’s boyfriend, Dennis Shields. On Watch What Occurs Dwell With Andy Cohen, Bethenny later defined that her outburst was triggered by “many issues,” reaching a boiling level after observing Luann’s habits.
Luann expressed optimism in the course of the RHONY after-show regardless of the stress, stating, “Bethenny and I’ve been associates for a very long time, and we have been via rather a lot collectively. Definitely, this isn’t the tip of the highway. Perhaps it is a new starting.”
