At least 22 killed, 33 injured in car accident in southern Egypt

Cairo: At least 22 people were killed and 33 injured in a car accident on Tuesday near Egypt’s southern province of Minya.
Local authorities in Minya said in a statement that the accident occurred early in the morning when a passenger bus hit a stalled truck on a highway connecting the capital of Cairo to the country’s south.
Officials said in a statement that the truck was changing a roadside tire when the bus rammed into the city of Malawi in Minya province, 220 kilometers (137 mi) south of Cairo.
