New Delhi, 12 July
Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday appointed Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his Rajasthan counterpart Ashok Gehlot as party observers for the upcoming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat.
Baghel will be assisted in election management by former Rajasthan deputy CM Sachin Pilot and former Punjab Congress chief Pratap Singh Bajwa as observers. For Gujarat, Congress has appointed Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo and former MP Milind Deora as observers attached to Gehlot.
