On Tuesday the 18-year-old attended Channel The Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 show in Paris. For the occasion, in which Apple sat front row, she wore a black and white tweed skirt and jacket set by the designer.
She paired the outfit with a black quilted Chanel crossbody bag and loafers.
Apple’s appearance at the show went viral on social media after fashion journalist Derek Blasberg noticed her appearance on Twitter and Instagram.
In the post, which has since gone viral, Blasberg shared several photos of Apple while the late Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld once declared she would be a “Chanel Girl.”
“Karl Lagerfeld met Apple Martin at the age of four and declared that one day she would be a Chanel girl,” he wrote. “It happened today!”
In addition to photos of Apple sitting in an iconic front-row seat at the show alongside Lucy Boynton and Sadie Sink, Blasberg also included 18 years of behind-the-scenes footage during the fashion show. In one photo, possibly taken after the show, Apple can be seen smiling as she holds an apple pastry, while another shows her posing for a selfie with a fashion journalist.
The tweet, which has been viewed more than 77,000 times, prompted comparisons between Apple and its famous parent.
One person tweeted, “God he really is a beautiful mix of his father and mother,” while another said: “Omg he is a perfect mix of his parents.”

Blasberg’s Instagram post dedicated to Apple also sought a response from Paltrow herself, who responded with an apple emoji.
Apple’s Fashion Week debut follows the Goop founder’s 18th birthday tribute to her daughter last year, in which Paltrow revealed she “couldn’t be more proud” of the woman she was becoming.
“18. I am at a loss for words this morning. I couldn’t be more proud of the woman that you are. You are everything I could have dreamed of and more,” Paltrow captioned the photo of herself and her daughter. “Pride doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put into words. You are absolutely extraordinary in every way.
“Happy birthday my darling girl. I hope you know how special you are, and how much light you bring to all who are lucky enough to know you. especially me. I say it all the time and I will never stop… In the words of Auntie Drew, I was born the day you were born. I love you.”
Besides Apple, Paltrow also has 16-year-old son Moses with ex-husband Martin.
