Agneepath a historic plan: BJP Gujarat Youth Wing President Prashant Korati

Prashant Korat, President of Youth Wing of Gujarat BJPthanked the prime minister on Wednesday Narendra Modi To launch the Agneepath scheme, which provides youth above the age of 17.5 years to serve as soldiers in the armed forces for four years.

Korat said that this scheme will give an opportunity to the youth of India to stay fit as well as serve the country.

Korat was addressing a press conference in this regard in which he termed the government’s decision to launch this scheme as ‘historic’. He said that this would create new employment opportunities for the youth.

Replying to a question, Korat said that the government has taken adequate steps to ensure that the recruitment process under the scheme is transparent.

Korat said the youth wing would organize blood donation camps in over 500 tehsils in the state with a target to collect more than 51,000 bottles of blood on the death anniversary of Syama Prasad Mookerjee.
