A day after the alleged breach in Prime Minister’s security Narendra Modi During his visit to Punjab, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday offered prayers for the long life of the PM at Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav temples.
“Whatever happened yesterday in Punjab, openly blows away the constitutional recognition and democratic system of India. It was a despicable act. The behavior of the Congress government towards the common citizens and constitutional institutions of the country can be gauged from its irresponsible attitude towards the Prime Minister.
The CM said that Congress should apologize to the people “as India will never accept such immoral, unconstitutional and undemocratic system”.
Adityanath said he offered special prayers so that “the country continues to receive PM Modi’s leadership, guidance and inspiration”.
Meanwhile, at an event in Lucknow, Adityanath said Hindus who were “expelled from Pakistan and Bangladesh”, and settled in UP, have been given land, which his government has freed from the land mafia. He also said that his government has introduced transparency in all government exams, indicating a “paradigm change” in the recruitment process compared to the previous government.
“Hindus living in Meerut for decades after facing expulsion from Pakistan and Bangladesh could not afford to build their houses or buy land. We have given two acres of land and 200 square yards of land per family in Kanpur Dehat to 63 such Bengali Hindu families. These lands were freed from the land mafia (land mafia).
Adityanath said at an event organized to distribute appointment letters to candidates selected for various posts in government services, Rs 1.20 lakh each has been given to each of the 63 families under the ‘Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana’.
