The singer told fans on social media on Wednesday that the new album “30” will be released on November 19.
“I was definitely nowhere near where I was expecting it to first start about 3 years ago,” the singer wrote. “Actually the opposite. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have. And yet I consciously – even voluntarily, throw myself into a maze of complete mess and inner turmoil Had been!”
She continued: “I’ve learned a lot of bitter truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers, but wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered a really useful and healthy mindset to lead, and I feel like I’ve finally found my spirit again. I can even go so far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life.”
She signed, “Home is where the heart x is.”
The album is Adele’s first since 2015.
The album’s first single, “Easy on Me,” will be released on Friday.
