New Delhi: Recently, with the release of Yash’s ‘KGF Chapter 2’, there was a tremendous storm at the International Field Office. While the rocking star fandom reached an all-time high, Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was planning its launch with ‘KGF Chapter 2’.
‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ has been in the news for a long time and the audience was eagerly waiting for it at an all time high but Yash’s film is very much loved among the audience. Speaking about the KGF and Laal Singh Chaddha controversy, Aamir Khan said at an ongoing event in Hyderabad, “I remember when KGF 2 was about to launch, there was a lot of joy among my own peers, among the Hindi audience.”
Aamir Khan further added how he kept avoiding sharing the same release date with KGF Chapter 2. But luckily, Purple Chillies was taking a while on VFX so we were saved! In any other case, we would have included KGF 2.
With the KGF series, Yash has not only made a strong presence in the hearts of the audience but the star has also recreated the great lost appeal of Indian cinema. The heroism craze was seen on the big screen with Yash’s cool and rough and tough avatar as Rocky Bhai.
While Yash has completed 14 years in the industry, the film has also counted its 100 days. Even after coming a long way, the craze of the film does not seem to be cooling down. The film has emerged as the first film to achieve 90+ on Ormax Energy score in all 5 languages (Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam). Also, the film could be one of the most stylized Indian films of 2022 with a score of 8.5 on IMDb. At the same time, looking at its box office collection, the film has collected more than 1300 crores worldwide.
